About us

Here at Mawnan Pre-School we have a long and happy history of providing a fantastic start for local children.

Serving the community

We have been registered as a Charity for over 35 years, based in a bright and spacious purpose-built building in the village of Mawnan Smith.

A place to learn and grow

Our friendly staff and voluntary committee are dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating environment for children from the age of two, until they start school.

A welcoming environment

Our open-plan play area is well equipped with toys, books and craft materials, while our partially covered playground is perfect for outdoor games all year round!

The well resourced outdoor play area enables children to explore and learn both indoors and out, while benefiting from their access to fresh air. The staff have warm relationship’s with and knowledge of children and their families this enables the staff to encourage children’s discussions and interests.
